History/ Discography

    Mike Heald started his musical journey at a young age. Born into a musical family, his mother played classical piano and his father played jazz saxophone and clarinet. His Mother would set up pots and pans and let him play on them until he got his first drum set at age four. He would also spend time at the piano. He got his first guitar at age eight and continued playing drums through junior high school. He was re introduced to the guitar at age thirteen. He studied classical guitar as well as learning the popular songs of that time on his own. He auditioned and was accepted into the High school of performing and visual arts school in Houston where he continued studying music theory and a variety of guitar styles. He started playing with a working band and playing clubs around the Houston area at age seventeen. It was around this time that he discovered he enjoyed teaching others and has taught at several music stores as well as conservatories. Mike is a master guitarist and is undefeated in the many contest he's won throughout his career. He has played concerts throughout the united states as well as Europe. His recording experience started at age 16 and continues today. He has several signed and unsigned projects under his belt and has had guest appearances on various bands albums. He later begin to study the violin and other instruments and has been a full time multi instrument instructor, teacher and producer as well as performer keeping him always busy and high in demand.
